VLF Sinus 45 KV AC / DC

The new VLF Sinus 45 is a completely new concept test equipment with many options for testing both old and new cable installations. VLF Sinus 45 follows the IEEE standard and covers testing of energy cables up to 25 kV. With automatic frequency adjustment, the frequency is tuned in according to the cable capacitance and lengths up to 25 km are no problem to test!

For maintenance testing according to IEEE 400.2, VLF Sinus 45 kV can also be used on cables up to 35 kV. Highest test capacitance is 10 µF!

Easier operation with Norwegian menus on a bright color screen provides increased safety and efficiency, built on the same interface as the popular Teleflex instruments and Centrix measuring vehicles.

Another new, unique possibility is that you can choose a built-in diagnostic function (option) with the tangent's delta. No external laptop is required and training is kept to a minimum as data is automatically evaluated after the end of the measurement. This way you can directly see the condition of the cable you have tested.

The factory also guarantees the highest safety for the operator thanks to internal earth loop monitoring, breakdown detection and internal automatic discharge.

In addition to VLF testing and tanDelta diagnosis, the device can be used for DC testing, sheath fault testing (according to REN 9113 / IEC 60229) and for sheath fault finding with pinpoint accuracy with the receiver ESG NT.
